Manickamangalam Temple – Kalady - Festival - Pooram

Manickamangalam Temple is located at Manickamangalam, around 2 km north of Kalady, in Ernakulam district, Kerala. The temple is one among the 108 Durga temples in Kerala. The main deity worshipped in the temple is Goddess Karthyayani (Swayambhu Sankalpam).

The circular sanctum sanctorum (vatta sreekovil) faces east. The Upa Devatas worshipped in the temple are Shiva and Sastha.

The annual festival in the temple concludes on Uthram nakshatra in Meenam month with arattu.

The temple earlier belonged to Pazhoor Mana. Now the shrine is administrated by NSS Karayogam.
