Kanjiramattom Mahadeva Temple – Thodupuzha

Kanjiramattom Mahadeva temple is located around 1.5 kilometers from Thodupuzha KSRTC bus stand in Idukki district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Shiva. Thodupuzhayar (river) flows through the front side of the temple.

The Upa Devatas worshipped in the temple are Durga, Sastha, Nagam, Rakshas and Ganapathy.

The 8-day annual festival is observed in such a manner that it ends with Arattu on the Thiruvathira nakshatra day in Kumbham month.

The temple is believed to have been built by Vadakkumkoor king.
