Kanjilassery Shiva Temple is located at Chemancheri village in Kozhikode district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Shiva and the Shivling worshipped here is nearly 5 feet high. The belief is that the base of the Shivling is underwater. The darshan of the sreekovil is towards west.
The Upa Devatas worshipped in the temple are Goddess Parvati, Dakshinamurthi, Unni Ganapathy, Valiya Ganapathy, Ayyappan and Vettaikaran.
During annual festival a special ritual known as Mathavilasaprahsanakoothu is held. This art form is conducted mainly by those couples wishing to beget a child.
