Ambar Sri Sadashiva temple is located at Mangalpady in Kasaragod district, Kerala. The Shivling worshipped in the temple is unusually big in height and girth. It is believed that the prathishta in Ambar Sri Sadashiva temple was performed by Bhima the second of Pandava brothers.
The main festival observed in the temple is Mahashivratri.
The temple in ancient times belonged to Mayappadi kings.
