Lord Vishnu. Here is a brief idea on how to Vasant Panchami puja at home. The
puja procedure on the day is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati and therefore it is
essentially a Saraswati Puja.
How to do Vasant Panchami puja at home?
- Wake up early just before sunrise.
- Clean the house.
- Take bath.
- Wear yellow color clothes.
- Offer prayer to Ganesha.
- Keep a picture or painting or sculpture of Goddess Saraswati on a yellow color cloth.
- Light lamp using cow ghee. Use one wick.
- Do dhoop or agarbathi of fragrant yellow flowers.
- Offer yellow color flowers.
- Red sindoor should be offered.
- Yellow color chandan should be offered.
- Mix rice with kesar and prepare a sweet dish. It should be yellow in color. The Prasad should be later given to a cow.
