Shambhu Mahadev Yatra in Rahu village is observed in Chaitra
month. It is annual fair and festival at the Shambhu Mahadev Temple at Rahu
Village in Daund Taluka of Pune District in Maharashtra. Rahu Shambhu Mahadev Yatra 2024 date is April 9. The shrine is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
The festival and fair attracts hundreds of devotees to the Shiva
Temple.
Processions, pujas, rituals, fireworks etc are part of the festivities.
For the annual festival, the shrine is decorated with lamps,
lights, flowers, leaves and sugarcane for the occasion.
Shambhu Mahadev Yatra in Rahu is annually observed on Chaitra
Shukla Paksha Pratipada tithi or the first day during the waxing phase of moon in
Chaitra month as per traditional Hindu lunar calendar followed
in Maharashtra.
