Pachwad Khandoba Yatra is annually organized in Paush month
at Pachwad village near Khatav in Satara District of Maharashtra. Hundreds of
people arrive to witness the jatra, fair and festival. Pachwad Khandoba Yatra
2027 date is January 19.
Khandoba Temple at Pachwad attracts devotees from nearby
villages and town. The annual yatra is famous for its unique rituals.
The temple is lavishly decorated on the occasion with
flowers, leaves, lamps and lights.
Pachwad Khandoba Yatra is annually observed on Paush Shukla
Paksha Dwadashi Tithi or the twelfth day during the waxing phase of moon in
Paush month as per traditional Hindu lunar calendar followed
in Maharashtra.
