Telugu Mantra for Prosperity and Happiness – Mantra in Telugu Language for Pleasure and Joy in Life

Below is a prayer in Telugu language for prosperity and happiness. Anyone can chant this mantra for attaining pleasure and joy in life. The mantra should be chanted continuously for 40 days to be effective. The person can decide the number of times it is chanted. It is ideal to chant the prayer in the morning. During the chanting your mind should not wander around.

In Hinduism, various mantras are chanted for prosperity and happiness. One such powerful mantra is the "Sri Suktam," dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi, who is the deity of wealth and prosperity. Here is the mantra in Telugu script along with its transliteration:

ఓం హిరణ్యవర్ణాం హరిణీం సువర్ణరజతస్రజాం |
చంద్రాం హిరణ్మయीं లక్ష్మీం జాతవేదో మ ఆవహ ||

తాం మ ఆవహ జాతవేదో లక్ష్మీమనపగామిని |
యస్యాం హిరణ్యం ప్రభూతం గావోదాస్యోష్వాన్ విందేయం పురుషానహం ||

అశ్వపూర్వామ్ రథమధ్యామ్ హస్తినాదప్రబోధినీం |
శ్రియం దేవీముపహ్వయే శ్రీర్మా దేవీ జుషతాం ||

కాం సోస్మితాం హిరణ్యప్రాకారం ఆర్ద్రాం జ్వలంతీం తృప్తాం తర్పయంతీం |
పద్మేసితాం పద్మవర్ణాం తామిహోపహ్వయే శ్రియం ||

Om Hiranyavarnaam Harineem Suvarna Rajatasrajaam |
Chandraam Hiranmayeem Lakshmeem Jatavedo Ma Avaha ||

Taam Ma Avaha Jatavedo Lakshmeemanapagaamineem |
Yasyaam Hiranyam Prabhootam Gaavodasyosvaan Vindeyam Purushaanaham ||

Ashwapoorvaam RathamaDhyaam Hastinaada Prabodhineem |
Shriyam Deveemupahvaye Shreermaa Deveem Jushataam ||

Meaning:

  • Verse 1: O Agni, invoke for me that Goddess Lakshmi who is golden-hued, wearing a garland of gold and silver, radiant as the moon, and resplendent with gold.
  • Verse 2: O Agni, invoke for me that unfailing Lakshmi, who brings prosperity and whose presence ensures wealth, cattle, horses, and humans.
  • Verse 3: I invoke the Goddess who is seated on a lotus, adorned with golden ornaments, who is born of a lotus, and is accompanied by elephants, granting us prosperity.
  • Verse 4: I invoke that Goddess Lakshmi who is radiant, shining, and filled with bliss, who fulfills all desires and grants contentment and joy.

Chanting this mantra with devotion is believed to bring prosperity, wealth, and happiness into one's life.
