Mangsuli Khandoba Yatra – Navratri Khandoba Jatra and Festival at Mangsuli, Belgaum

Mangsuli Khandoba Yatra is observed in Ashwin month. It is the annual fair and festival at Khandoba Temple at Mangsuli Village in Athani, Belgaum. The ritual is held during the Navratri festival period. Mangsuli Khandoba Yatra 2024 date is October 12.

Mangsuli is believed to be the place where Khandoba, a manifestation of Lord Shiva, killed demon Malla.

Mangsuli Khandoba is the Kuldevata or family deity of several communities in Southern Maharashtra and Northern Karnataka.

The annual Yatra during Navratri attracts thousands of people the shrine.

Mangsuli Khandoba Yatra is yearly held on Ashwin Shukla Paksha Navami Tithi or the ninth day during the waxing phase of moon in Ashwin month as per traditional Hindu lunar calendar followed in Karnataka.
