Kusai Devi Navratri and Yatra is organized in Ashwin month.
It is the annual festival and fair held at Kusaidevi Temple in Bilashi village
near Shirala in Sangli District of Maharashtra. The festival is organized
during the Navratri period. Kusai Devi Navratri Festival and Yatra 2026 date is October 11 to October 20. The most important dates are October 19 and October 20.
Bilashi Kusai Devi Temple is dedicated to Mother Goddess
Shakti. Kusaidevi, an incarnation of
Goddess Shakti, is worshipped mainly in Maharashtra.
Rituals associated with Goddess Durga are performed during
the nine-day period at the temple.
Ashtami and Navami during Navratri are the most important
dates here.
Kusai Devi Navratri Festival in Bilashi is annually held from
Ashwin Shukla Paksha Pratipada Tithi to Navami tithi or the first to ninth day
of waxing phase of moon in Ashwin month as per traditional Hindu lunar calendar
followed in Maharashtra.
