Panguni Uthiram is one of the most important festivals at
the Palani Murugan Temple
Murugan devotees carry Kavadis – they also carry holy water
from Cauvery River
Abhishekam with holy water is performed on all days to the
main Murugan murti in the temple.
The festival begins with the flag hoisting at the Thiru Avinankudi Temple
On all the 10 days Palani Murugan with Sri Valli and Sri Devayani
goes in procession around the Palani Hill.
