Ravalnath Yatra at Chandgad – Jagrut Devastan Sri Ravalnath temple Festival

Ravalnath Yatra at Chandgad is annually observed in the Magh Month. The Jagrut Devasthan Sri Ravalnath temple festival is popularly known as Ravalnath Yatra. Thousands of people participate in this unique event at Chandgad. Ravalnath Yatra 2025 date is February 13.

Sri Ravalnath Temple is dedicated to Ravalnath a form of Shiva – closely associated with Shiva.

The main ritual during the festival includes pulling of the chariot of the deity.

Ravalnath Yatra is observed on Magh Krishna Paksha Pratipada Tithi or the first day during the waning phase of moon in Magh month as per traditional Hindu lunar calendar followed in Maharashtra.
