Kartik Festival at Panduranga Swamy Temple at Chilakalapudi in Machilipatnam in Andhra Pradesh

The annual festival at the Panduranga Swamy Temple at Chilakalapudi in Machilipatnam in Andhra Pradesh is observed in the holy Kartik Month as per Telugu Calendar for five days. The annual Panduranga Swami festival in 2025 is from November 1 to November 5.

Thousands of devotees arrive during the festival to have darshan of Panduranga Swamy – Lord Vitthal of Pandharpur (a manifestation of Sri Krishna). The devotees perform holy bath in Bay of Bengal at Manginapudi Beach and have darshan of the deity.

The most important puja is held on the Kartik Shukla Paksha Ekadasi day.

The procession deity is taken around the streets in the evening during the festival.

The festival concludes on the Kartik Purnima day.
