Arogya Saptami Vrat is dedicated to Lord Surya or Sun God and is observed on the seventh day during the waxing phase of moon (Shukla Paksha) in Magh Month. Arogya Saptami 2025 date is February 4. The ritual is also known as Arogya Saptami Vrat or Brata.
The reason for celebrating Arogya Saptami stems from the belief that the sun’s rays on the day has curative properties and it will help in curing skin and other diseases.
It must be noted that the Saptami or seventh day during the Shukla Paksha of Magha Masa is dedicated to Lord Surya and is observed as Surya Jayanti and Ratha Saptami.
