NDTV carried this unique story of Jhiri village in Rajgarh District of Madhya Pradesh where people converse in Sanskrit. The people have renewed interest in the language. Almost all the people in the village make use of Sanskrit for communication.

They feel the language has made them more civilized and cultured.



There are such efforts being made by villages to bring back Sanskrit.

When lot of foreign universities are showing keen interest in Sanskrit many of our universities and politicians are attempting to malign the study of Sanskrit.

Even Sanskrit has become politicized in this country.
