Goddess Vasudevi is a manifestation of Goddess Shakti. She
is closely associated with Goddess Bhavani manifestation of Shakti. Prayers and
Vrat dedicated to Vasudevi are observed on the Ashada Shukla Paksha Tritiya or
the third day during the waxing phase of moon in Ashad month.
Vasudevi blesses a devotee with peace, prosperity and
wealth.
She is propitiated for attaining wealth by some communities.
Exclusive temples dedicated to Goddess Vasudevi are very
rare. She is worshipped along with other manifestations of Goddess Shakti like
Bhavani, Indrani and Rambha.
