Mahadev Yatra is annually held on Shivratri day in Magh
month. It is undertaken to the Mahadev Temple located at Sarole in Mohol
Taluka of Solapur District in Maharashtra. Sarole Mahadev Yatra 2025 date is February 26. The mandir is dedicated to Shiva.
This annual jatra and festival attracts hundreds of
devotees. People also flock to the fair and festival organized during the
period.
The shrine is decorated for the occasion with lamps, lights,
leaves, flowers etc for the occasion. Food donation is also held on the
occasion.
Various rituals are performed during the period.
Mahadev Yatra at Sarole is observed on Magh Krishna Paksha
Trayodashi Tithi or the thirteenth day during the waning phase of moon in Magh
month as per traditional Hindu lunar calendar followed in Maharashtra.
