Maruthayi Muchilottu Bhagavathy Kavu temple is located at Maruthayi in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathi. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for three days in Malayalam Meena Masam – Meenam 10 to Meenam 12 (March 23 to March 25).

theyyam, Narambil Bhagavathi theyyam, Muhcilottu Bhagavathi theyyam and
Kannangattu Bhagavathi theyyam.
This a small shrine with a chathura sreekovil. The roof of
the shrine is decorated with traditional temple motifs. There are raised
platforms for other deities. Certain deities are worshipped under trees.
Sankranti in every month is of great importance.
