Uppayichal Velankuniyil Kunjarukurathi Amma Devasthanam temple is located at Uppayichal in Azhikode North in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Kunjarukurathiyamma and other deities. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for three days in Malayalam Kumbha Masam – Kumbham 1 to Kumbham 3 (February 13 to Feb 15).

Kunjaru Kurathi Amma Devasthanam temple are Nellu Kuthi Pothi theyyam, Karim
Chamundi theyyam, Ayyappan theyyam, Kurathi theyyam, Gulikan theyyam, Kundor Chamundi
theyyam and Koodeyullor theyyam.
This is a small shrine with a chathura sreekovil – square
sanctum sanctorum. Some deities are worshipped on square platforms and under
trees. The roof and walls of the main shrine are decorated with traditional
temple motifs. Sankranti in every month is of great significance.
