Nambram Sree Muchilottu Bhagavathy Kavu temple is located at Nambram near Parassanikadavu in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Muchilott Bhagvathy. The annual temple theyyam kaliyattam thira festival is held for four days in Malayalam Thula Masam – Thulam 23 to Thulam 26 (November 8 to November 11).
The important theyyams that can be witnessed at Nambram Sree Muchilottu Bhagavathy Kavu temple are Chuzhali Bhagavathi theyyam, Kannangattu Bhagavathy theyyam, Muchilot Bhagavathi theyyam, Narambil Bhagavathy theyyam, Puliyoor Kali theyyam, Puliyoor Kannan theyyam and Vishnumoorthi theyyam.
This is a small shrine with a chathura sreekovil for the
main deity. There are other smaller sreekovils and raised platforms for other
deities. Certain deities are worshipped under trees. Sankranti in a Malayalam
month is of great importance.
