Angakkalari Sree Vettakorumakan Kottaram Paadarkulangara Bhagavathy temple, Angakkalari temple, is located near Palathadam – Puthariyadukkam in Kasaragod district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Vettakkorumakan and Bhagavathi. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for four days in Dhanu Masam – Dhanu 5 to Dhanu 8 (December 20 to December 23).
Important theyyams that can be witnessed at Angakkalari temple are Chekkippara Bhagavathi theyyam, Vishnumoorthi theyyam, Padarkulangara Bhagavathy theyyam, Puliyoor Kannan theyyam, Raktha Chamundi theyyam and Thovakkaran theyyam.
The temple has a chathura sreekovil which is decorated
traditionally. There are other sreekovils in the temple compound. Certain deities
are worshipped atop small raised square platforms and under trees.
