Palakkat Sree Puthiya Parambath Bhagavathy Kavu temple is located at Palakkatt near Nileshwar in Kasaragod district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathi and couple of other deities that are commonly worshipped in tharavadu, kavu and sacred places in Kasaragod region. The annual kaliyattam theyyam thira festival is held for six days in Malayalam Makara Masam – Makaram 23 to Makaram 28 (February 6 to February 11).
The temple has a chathura sreekovil – square sanctum sanctorum – for the main deity. The roof of the sreekovil is decorated traditionally. There are other smaller sreekovils. Some deities are worshipped on small square platforms and under trees. Pujas are held mainly during Sankranti and Vishu.

Ankakkulangara Bhagavathi theyyam, Ayitti Bhagavathi theyyam, Aryakkara
Bhagavathy, Bhairavan theyyam and Cheralath Bhagavathi theyyam.
The temple is also famous in the region for the worship of
Goddess Saraswathi.
