Mottammal Perumthottam Neeliyar Kottam temple is located at Mottammal near Kannapuram in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Neeliyar Bhagavathy and numerous other deities commonly worshipped in the region. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for three days in Malayalam Makara Masam – Makaram 3 to Makaram 5 (January 17 to Jan 19).

Perumthottam Neeliyar Kottam are Neeliyar Bhagavathi theyyam, Kutty theyyam, Vettakkorumakan
theyyam and Orpzhassi theyyam.
This is a small shrine with a chathura sreekovil for the
main deity. The roof of the shrine is traditionally decorated. There are other
smaller sreekovils and raised platforms for other deities. Sankranti in a
Malayalam month is of great importance.
