Ariyil Sree Karayappath Kathivanoor Veeran Devasthanam temple is located at Ariyil near Pattuvam in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Kathivanoor Veeran, Vayanattu Kulava and other related deities. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for three days in Malayalam Makara Masam and Kumbha Masam – Makaram 29, Makaram 30 and Kumbham 1 (February 12 to Feb 14).

Diavam theyyam, Kathivanoor Veeran theyyam and Kudiveeran theyyam.
This is a small shrine with a chathura sreekovil – square
sanctum sanctorum. The walls and roof of the shrine are traditionally decorated.
Some deities are worshipped on square platforms and under trees. Vishu is an
important festival here. Sankranti in every month is of great significance.
