Kacheripara Manikkothu Padinjare Veedu temple is located at Kacheripara in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Bhagavathy, Vishnumoorthi and other related deities. The annual thira theyyam kaliyattam festival is held for two days in Malayalam Dhanu Masam – Dhanu 9 to Dhanu 10 (December 25 to December 26).
The important theyyams that can be witnessed at Kacheripara Manikkothu Padinjare Veedu temple are Kammi Amma theyyam, Vannathi Bhagavathy theyyam, Thai Paradevata theyyam and Vishnumoorthi theyyam.
The shrine is mainly open on Sankranti day in a month as per
traditional Malayalam calendar. The main deity is worshipped in traditional chathura
sreekovil – square sanctum sanctorum. Other deities are worshipped under trees
and atop small raised square platforms.
