Palakkat Theruvath Tharavad Devasthanam temple is located at Palakkatt near Nileshwar in Kasaragod district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Chamundi, Gulikan, Vishnumoorthi and couple of other deities that are commonly worshipped in tharavadu, kavu and sacred places in Kasaragod region. The annual kaliyattam theyyam thira festival is held for two days in Malayalam Kumbha Masam – Kumbham 16 and Kumbham 17 (February 28 and March 1).
This a family-maintained temple with a small sreekovil – square
sanctum sanctorum. Some deities are worshipped on small square platforms and under
trees. Pujas are held mainly during Sankranti and Vishu.

Theruvath Tharavad Devasthanam temple are Gulikan theyyam, Raktha Chamundi theyyam,
Vishnumoorthi theyyam, Kurathi theyyam and Kundor Chamundi theyyam.
