Kunnachery Sree Poomala Bhagavathi temple is located at Kunnacheri, South Thrikkarippur in Kasaragod district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Poomala Bhagavathi, Vishnumoorthi, Rakta Chamundi and various manifestations of Bhagavathi. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for three days in Malayalam Kumbha Masam – Kumbham 12 to Kumbham 14 (Feb 25 to Feb 27).
There are two main sreekovil in the temple. One is a chathura sreekovil (square sanctum sanctorum) and another is a deergha chathura sreekovil (rectangular sanctum sanctorum). The walls and the roof of the shrines are traditionally decorated. There are other smaller sreekovils for other deities. Some deities are worshipped atop raised small square platforms. Some deities are worshipped under trees. Vishu is an important festival here. Sankranti is the most important day in a month.

Chamundi theyyam, Puthiya Bhagavathy theyyam, Raktha Chamundi theyyam and
Vishnumoorthi theyyam.

കളിയാട്ടത്തില് വിവിധദിവസങ്ങളില്
പുതിയഭഗവതി, വിഷ്ണുമൂര്ത്തി,
രക്തചാമുണ്ഡി, അങ്കക്കുളങ്ങര ഭഗവതി, മടയില് ചാമുണ്ഡി എന്നീ തെയ്യങ്ങള് കെട്ടിയാടും. 27-ന് ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് അന്നദാനവുമുണ്ടാവും.
