Kanad Thalakkott Bhagavathy temple is located at Kanad in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathy. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for two days in Malayalam Kumbha Masam – Kumbham 18 to Kumbham 19 (March 2 to March 3).
This is a small shrine with a chathura sreekovil – square
sanctum sanctorum. There are other chathura sreekovils for other deities. Some
deities are worshiped atop square platforms. Some deities are offered prayers
under trees. Sankranti is an important day in a Malayalam Masam.

കാനാട് തലക്കോട്ട് ഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രോത്സവം Mar 3 വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച സമാപിക്കും. രാവിലെ ഒന്പതിന് തലക്കോട്ട് ഭഗവതിയുടെ തിരുമുടി ഉയരും. ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് ഒന്നിന് ഗുരുതി സമര്പ്പണം, വൈകീട്ട് നാലിന് ആറാട്ടോടെ ഉത്സവം സമാപിക്കും.
