Anthoor Koovathodan Tharavadu Kurathiyamma Devasthanam temple is located at Anthoor near Taliparamba in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Kurathi Amma. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for two days in Malayalam Kumbha Masam – Kumbham 12 and Kumbham 12 (February 24 and Feb 25).
The important theyyam that can be witnessed here is the
Kurathi theyyam. The temple is also famous for Sandhya Vela. Sankranti in every
Malayalam month is of importance here.
