Vallyayi Porkali Bhagavathy temple is located at Vallyayi in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Porkkali Bhagavathi. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for two days in Malayalam Kumbha Masam – Kumbham 26 and Kumbham 27 (March 10 and March 11).
This is a small shrine with a chathura sreekovil – square
sanctum sanctorum – for the main deity. The other deities are worshipped on small
raised square platforms open to elements and under trees.

theyyam.
