Kulirankai Ottu Tharavadu Uchulikadavath Devastanam Temple – Theyyam – Kaliyattam Festival

Kulirankai Ottu Tharavadu Uchulikadavath Devastanam temple is located on Thottam-Padne Road, Pilicode, in Kasaragod district, Kerala. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held in the shrine for three days in once in three years in Malayalam Dhanu Masam.


This a private temple with a chathura sreekovil – squore sanctum sanctorum. There are raised platform for subsidiary deities. Nagas or serpents are worshipped in special designated areas.

The important theyyams performed here are Angakulangara Bhagavathi, Uchulikadavathu Bhagavathy, Perudevata, Rakta Chamundeshwari, Gulikan, Achan Daivam and Kannikkorumakan.
