Kanhileri Pothiyalkandi Padinjatta Muchilottu Kavu temple is located at Kanhileri in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Muchilottu Bhagavathy. The annual theyyam kaliyattam thira festival at Kanhileri Pothiyalkandi Padinjatta Muchilottu Kavu temple is held for three days in Malayalam Meena Masam – Meenam 3 to Meenam 5 (March 17 to March 19).
The shrine here is a small chathura sreekovil – square sanctum sanctorum with a traditionally decorated roof. The other deities are worshipped under trees and on uncovered raised square platforms. Vishu and Sankranti are important days in the temple.
