Kanam Minnadan Tharavadu Devasthanam temple is located at Kanam near Payyanur in Kannur district, Kerala. This is privately maintained temple and is dedicated to various deities worshipped in the region. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival at Kanam Minnadan Tharavadu Devasthanam temple is held for two days in Meena Masam – Meenam 5 and Meenam 6 (March 19 and March 20).
The shrine here is a small chathura sreekovil – square sanctum sanctorum with a traditionally decorated roof. The other deities are worshipped under trees and on uncovered raised square platforms.
