Cheriyur Bhagavathy Temple is located at Cheriyur near Taliparamba in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathi. The annual theyyam kaliyattam festival is unique as one can witness few rare theyyam kolams here including Kutti theyyam and Pulli Vettakkorumakan theyyam. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival in the shrine is held in Malayalam Meena Masam for three days – Meenam 12 to Meenam 14 (March 26 to March 28).
The temple has a small chathura sreekovil with a traditionally decorated roof. Other deities are worshipped on smaller sanctums and on raised for platforms. Sankranti and Vishu are important festivals here.
