Kadambur Thottum Mukhathu Madappura temple is located at Kadambur in Kannur district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathy, Muthappan and other deities worshiped in tharavadu and kavu in the region. The annual theyyam, kaliyattam and thira festival at Thottummukhathu Madappura temple is held for two days in Malayalam Dhanu Masam – Dhanu 12 and Dhanu 13 (January 27 and January 28).
This is a small shrine with a chathura sreekovil. The other deities are worshiped on square platforms or under trees and in specific places. Pujas are mainly held on Sankranti day. The shrine also observes Vishu.
The main theyyams that are part of the annual theyyam festival are Elladath Bhagavathy theyyam, Muthappan theyyam, Karnavar theyyam and Thiruvappana theyyam.
