Edakkeppuram Thundivalappu Tharavadu temple is located at Kannapuram in Kannur district, Kerala. This is a tharavadu shrine and the main deities worshipped here are male deities worshipped in kavu and tharavadu in Kannur region of Kerala. Edakkeppuram Thundivalappu Tharavadu temple theyyam festival is held for two days in Malayalam Dhanu Masam – Dhanu 22 to Dhanu 23 (Jan 6 to Jan 7).
The main rituals and pujas are held on Sankranthi day as per traditional Malayalam calendar. Vishu is an important puja day in the temple.
