Sindhi Smriti Divas is observed by the Sindhi community in remembrance of leaving Sindh Pradesh, which is currently in Pakistan. Sindh Smriti Divas 2024 date is August 14. In 2024, it is the 77th anniversary of Sindh Smriti Diwas. The Sindhi community living in various parts of India observe the day with meetings and Bharat Mata Puja. Various ceremonies and pujas are also held in temples.
Various Sindhu Sabha around the country make it a point to educate the younger generation about Sindhi culture and remind them about the sacrifice and loss of the community members.
Sindh Pradesh, the homeland of the Sindhi Hindu community, went to Pakistan during the painful partition of India.

आजादी के समय भारत-पाक के बंटवारे के दाैरान सिंध प्रदेश पाकिस्तान का भाग हाेने के बाद कई हिंदू सिंधियाें काे सिंध छाेड़कर भारत आना पड़ा था। अपनी मातृभूमि से बिछड़ने और बंटवारे के दुख के साथ अपनी भाषा-संस्कृति की यादाें काे संजाेए रखने के लिए सिंधी समाज 14 अगस्त काे सिंध स्मृति दिवस मनाता है।
