Prasad or Bhog At Mumbai Siddhi Vinayak Temple

Siddhi Vinayak temple is located in the Prabhadevi area in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The temple is famous for its Mahaprasad. Two types of bhog or naivedya is offered in the temple. The most famous among them is the boondi ladoo and the other coconut barfi.

The Prasad is prepared in the temple kitchens, which are automated to a large extent.

40,000 boondi ladoos and 25,000 coconut baris are made every day. The numbers increase during 10-day Ganesh Chaturthi festival and monthly Sankashti Chaturthi days.

The Mahanaivedya or daily food for Siddhi Vinayak worshiped in the temple is prepared in a separate kitchen.
