Vithura Sree Krishna Swamy temple is located at Vithura in Thiruvananthapuram district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Bhagavan Sri Krishna. The annual Gokulashtami or Sri Krishna Janmashtami jayanti festival is held with various pujas and rituals. Ashtami Rohini ghoshayathra, feast, young children as baby Krishnas and other festivities are part of the important Krishna temple festival observed in Chingamasam (August – September).
The temple has beautiful square sanctum sanctorum and its exterior of the roof is colorfully painted and has sculptures of Hindu gods and goddesses.
The shrine observes various Vaishnava pujas and rituals. Vishu, Ramayana Masam and Thiruvonam are observed in the shrine. Ekadashi is of significance in the temple.
