Payipad Mahadeva Temple

Payipad Mahadeva temple is located on the Haripad - Veeyapuram road at Payipad in Alappuzha district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Mahadevar or Shiva. The main upa devata worshipped in the temple is Sri Krishna.

The temple has a chathura sreekovil which is gold-plated. There are upa devata shrines. The main deity faces east.

The shrine observes Mahashivratri. Pongala is also offered in the temple for Devi. Ashtami Rohini is another festival observed in the temple.

The shrine observes Pradosham and Ekadashi.

The temple also observes Vishu, Ramayana Masam, Navratri and Thrikarthika.
