Omalloor Uzhuvathu Devi Temple

Omalloor Uzhuvathu Devi temple is located at Omalloor in Pathanamthitta district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathy or Devi. The annual festival in the temple is observed on Bharani nakshatra day in Kumbha Masam.

This traditional Kerala style temple is located on the banks of Achankovil River. The temple has a chathura sreekovil, namaskara mandapam, chuttambalam and shrines of upa devatas.

The annual festival in the temple is famous for unique Shakteya rituals. Melam, traditional temple art forms of Kerala, ezhunnallathu and temple music are part of the annual festival.

Navratri, Ramayana Masam, Thrikarthika are important days in a year in the temple. The most important days for performing puja are Tuesdays and Fridays.
