Kumaranalloor Elevanattu Trikkayil Sri Krishna Swami temple is located on Chemmangattu Konthukadavu Road near Kumaranalloor – Thiruvanchoor in Kottayam district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated Bhagavan Sri Krishna. The annual Ashtami Rohini – Sri Krishna Jayanti – which falls in Malayalam Chingamasam is of great significance in the temple. Pujas, rituals, colorful processions and feast are part of the festivities.
The temple is also known as Kochu Guruvayoor. The upa devatas worshipped in the temple are Ganesha, Vadakkunnathan, Goddess Parvati, Sri Parameswaran and Nagas.
The temple is noted for its
traditional architecture. The temple has a chathura sreekovil, namaskara
mandapam and chuttambalam.
The shrine observes Ekadashi and other important Vaishnava days in a month. Vishu, Ramayana Masam and Thiruvonam are of importance in the temple.
