Kozhencherry Subramanya Swamy temple is located at Kozhencherry in Pathanamthitta district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Murugan or Subrahmanya. The temple has numerous upa devata shrines including that of Ganapati. Thaipooyam in Makara Masam (January – February) and Vinayaka Chaturthi in Chingamasam (August – September) are important festivals in the shrine.
The temple has a chathura sreekovil which faces east. All structures in the temple are relatively new. The murtis worshipped in various sanctums are very old.
Thaipooyam is observed with various pujas and rituals including carrying of kavadi. Sashti vratam fasting day in a month is of great importance at the shrine.
