Kaipattoor Thrippara Mahadeva temple is located on the banks of Achankovil River in Kaipattoor, Pathanamthitta district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Shiva – Mahadevar. The annual Shivratri festival is of great importance in the temple.
The temple does not have a sreekovil or sanctum sanctorum. The main Shivling is worshipped in the open. Upa Devatas are worshipped in the temple. The temple has a kodimaram and other structures.
Fortnightly pradosham day and Mondays are of importance in the temple. Annadanam is performed in the temple. Ezhunnallathu is part of the annual festival.
The shrine gets flooded and shivling goes under water during monsoon season.
