Elamthuruthy Palluthevar Mahavishnu temple is located at Elamthuruthy near Kuttanellur in Thrissur district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Bhagavan Vishnu. The annual Ashtami Rohini festival (Sri Krishna Jayanti) is observed with great enthusiasm in the temple and involves procession, uriyadi, feast etc.
The temple has a vatta sreekovil. The temple has beautiful wall paintings of stories from Hindu scriptures. There is an alankara mandapam and well-maintained temple pond.
The shrine observes various Vaishnava rituals and pujas during auspicious occasion especially during Ekadashi. The temple observes Vishu, Ramayana Masam and Thiruvonam.
The festival is famous for the participation of caparisoned elephants, melam, procession, music and performing art forms of Kerala. The festival concludes with arattu ceremony.
