Edappatta Kaipulli Vishnu Temple

Edappatta Kaipulli Vishnu temple is located at Edappatta in Malappuram district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Vishnu Bhagavan. The shrine observes various Vaishnava traditional rituals and pujas.

This is a traditional Kerala style temple with a chathura sreekovil which faces east. The temple has a nalambalam, namaskara mandapam, well-maintained pond and shrines of upa devatas.

The shrine observes various festivals associated with Vishnu including Vishu, Ramayana Masam, Niraputhari, Ashtami Rohini, Thiruvonam and Thrikarthika.

Ekadashi is of great importance in the shrine. Thiruvonam nakshatra and Thursdays are importance in the temple. Various rituals are observed in Chinga masam (August 17 to September 16) in the temple.

Sri Krishna Janmashtami is observed with much enthusiasm.
