Amayannoor Cheruthrika Sree Krishna Swami temple is located at Amayannoor – Ayarkunnam in Kottayam district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Bhagavan Sri Krishna. Sri Krishna Janmashtami – Ashtami Rohini is an important festival in the temple and is observed in Malayalam Chingamasam.
This traditional Kerala style temple has an althara and pond. The temple has an east facing vatta sreekovil. There are also shrines of upa devatas.
The temple observes Vishu, Ramayana Masam and other Vaishnava auspicious days including Ekadashi.
Sri Krishna Jayanti is observed with pujas, rituals and uriyadi.
