Puthur Vagheeswaram Mahavishnu temple is located at Puthur – Mangalam near Lakkidi in Palakkad district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Bhagavan Vishnu. The annual Pratishta festival in the temple is held Malayalam Edava Masam (May – June).
The temple has an east facing round sanctum sanctorum – vatta sreekovil. The shrine has a chuttambalam, namaskara mandapam and shrines of upa devatas.
The annual Ashtami Rohini festival in Chinga Masam is of great importance in the temple. The shrine also observes Vishu, Thiruvonam and other rituals associated with Bhagavan Vishnu.
