Veliyam Malayil Devi temple is located at a few meters off the Oyoor - Kottarakkara Road at Veliyam in Kollam district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathi. The annual Pathamudayam festival in Meda Masam, which is observed 10 days after Vishu, is an important festival in the temple.
This is a small temple with a chathura sreekovil. There are shrines of upa devatas. The annual festival is observed with various Tantric pujas and rituals including homam, abhishekam and various other Devi temple rituals. Melam, ezhunnallathu and procession are part of the festival.
The shrine also observes annual prathishta dinam, navratri and thrikarthika festival.
