Lakkidi Thekkumangalam Cherngottu Kavu temple is located at Thekkumangalam near Lakkidi in Palakkad district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathi. The annual Vishu Vela festival (തെക്കുംമംഗലം ചേര്ങ്ങോട്ട് കാവില് വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച വിഷു വേല) is the most important festival in the temple.
Parayeduppu, Usha puja, Eedu, Palakkombu kondu viral, thayambaka, keli pattu, melam and ezhunellippu, nadaswaram, and mudiyettu are some of the important festivities and rituals are part of the festival. Thiruvathira, caparisoned elephants, thalam and traditional temple art forms are also part of the annual festival.
